I’ve spent several visits to ‘Blue, slowly working at getting the remaining bits of the exhaust out of the boat after the union disintegrated in the shipping lanes a while back.
Forty years of use has the exhaust elbow really carboned-up and the remaining piece of the union still refuses to budge but slow and steady progress is being made.
One could say “I’m exhausted” from all this playing as a diesel mechanic and that may well be true if that was the only activity consuming life. But it isn’t…..
Fortunately the good Skipper of Jigsaw allows me to sail along from time to time and so while repairs to ‘Blue are underway, the weekly sailing-fix can still be had.
